Richard and Jane Schneider are real estate investors and have residential
properties in Antrim, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse and Benzie counties.
They have studied with Russ Whitney and continue to take classes
whenever possible. They have lived in Interlochen for the past seven
years.
Richard works as Manager of the Traverse Area District
Library, where he oversees the library’s $4 million budget.
He is an enthusiastic member of the Traverse City Kiwanis Club
and enjoys singing with the Northwestern Michigan College Chorale.
He has a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University
of Michigan.
Jane is a registered nurse and health educator
at the Kalkaska Office of District Health Department #10. Through
her work in public health she has been involved with committees
addressing the housing shortage and lack of affordable housing.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Northeastern
University in Boston.
Both Richard and Jane have particularly enjoyed
their volunteer relationship with Interlochen Center for the Arts.
They volunteer as ushers for both winter and summer concerts and
summer camp events, volunteer at Interlochen Public Radio, and
enjoy the student concerts and events throughout the year. |
